A vision statement is a concise declaration of an organization’s long-term goals, aspirations, and the impact it seeks to make in the world. Unlike a mission statement, which focuses on the present, a vision statement is future-oriented and encapsulates the ultimate goal or dream of the organization.

Both businesses and individuals tend to spend a lot of time and resources thinking about what might or might not happen in the near future. Without a clear vision of the final desired outcome and no defined plan for reaching it, this can send you in circles and prevent any meaningful progress.
